
Lafayette, LA – Community Foundation of Acadiana is pleased to announce the election of officers and the appointment of new board members to its 2025 Board of Directors.
Board member Ian Macdonald was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors; EJ Krampe was elected as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors; William “Will” Rucks was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Seven new members – Julie Chauvin, Blake David, Joseph “Joe” Giglio, Robert Kallam, Bentley Senegal, Michael Tanner, Joe Zanco have also joined CFA's Board of Directors. The appointments were effective January 1, 2025.

If you would like to get to know our officers and new board members, please read a short biography of each member below: Julie S. Chauvin is an attorney and shareholder at Liskow & Lewis. Julie’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration, corporate and business law, commercial real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. Julie received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, her MBA from Loyola University New Orleans, and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, all summa cum laude. In law school, she was a managing editor of the Loyola Law Review. Julie serves on the Corporations Committee of the Louisiana State Law Institute, is a Board member of One Acadiana, and is a past Chairman of the Corporate and Business Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Blake R. David Sr. is a founding partner of Broussard, David & Moroux law firm in Lafayette. David is included in the list of Louisiana Super Lawyers TOP 50 lawyers in of Louisiana, board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Advocacy, an advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates, teaches Trial Advocacy at the LSU Law Center, and has Martindale-Hubbell highest rating (AV). David’s professional associations include the Louisiana Association for Justice (Past President); Louisiana State Bar Association (Board of Governors), Louisiana State Law Institute (Board Member), Lafayette Bar Association (Past President), American Inn of Court of Acadiana (Past President), Lafayette Federal Bar Association (Past President), International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers. Aside from ownership interests in locally owned oil exploration companies, commercial and residential real estate, oilfield service companies, medical companies, and a restaurant, Mr. David owns Stately Doors and Windows, based in Lafayette. As part of this manufacturing operation, Mr. David and his brother also own Stately Logistics, LLC. David is the past chair of the Louisiana Board of Regents (current Finance Chair). He currently serves on The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Lafayette Economic Development Authority (Chair, Executive Committee, Board of Commissioners), First Horizon Bank (Advisory Board), Community Foundation of Acadiana (Board Member), Downtown Development Authority (Past Chair), Catholic Charities of Acadiana (Capital Campaign Chair, former captain); Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (Eucharistic minister, Finance Committee), St. Thomas More High School (Board Member), ABC Art Fund (Vice-Chair), and The Acadiana Tigers (Board member, past president). He and his wife, Amber, reside in Lafayette with their three children.
Joseph C. Giglio, Jr. (“Joe”) has practiced law with the firm of Liskow & Lewis for 48 years. His practice focuses on business, corporate, succession, estate, and trust transactions and litigation. He is a past President of the Lafayette Parish Bar Association. In addition to having served on various school, church and civic committees, Joe served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce (now known as One Acadiana), on the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation, and on the Board and as President of Hospice of Acadiana Foundation. Joe currently serves on the Board of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and on the Board of the recently formed Catholic Legacy Foundation of Acadiana. Joe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from USL in 1974, and his law degree from Tulane School of Law in 1977. Joe and his wife Debbie have five children, all of whom are married, living in Lafayette, and have children of their own, making Joe and Debbie very proud grandparents of fifteen grandchildren.
Robert M. Kallam is a partner in the Lafayette office of Kean Miller, LLP, a regional law firm with nearly 250 lawyers in Louisiana and Texas serving clients here in Acadiana and across the country. Robert is a litigator with more than three decades of experience in state and federal courts defending marine, energy, transportation, insurance, and other companies involved in high-stakes, single, and multi-plaintiff litigation and general casualty defense litigation. Robert received his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from Louisiana State University. In the community, Robert has served on the Board of Directors for St. Thomas More Catholic High School Foundation, Cathedral Carmel School Advisory Board and Ascension Episcopal High School Athletic Booster Club. He has also served as a Faculty Member for the LSU Law Center Apprenticeship Week. Currently, Robert serves as the chair of the Alumni Board of Trustees at the LSU Law Center and on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Greater Southwest Louisiana Mardi Gras Association. He is past President of the Lafayette Bar Association and the Acadiana Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Robert has been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, and Acadiana Profile as a Top Lawyer. He was also named as an inaugural distinguished Alumni by St. Thomas More Catholic High School in 2022.
Bently Senegal is a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSBA) in accounting. Bently is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), specializing in the healthcare industry. Bently is employed by Our Lady of Lourdes Health where he currently holds the position of Director of Mission Integration and Formation, which includes his work to coordinate the completion of the hospital’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and the Community Health Implementation Plan (CHIP). Bently’s previous positions with the hospital were Decision Support Coordinator, Director of Finance, Controller and Director of Community Services. Bently is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Louisiana Society of CPA’s (LCPA) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Class XXVI. Having been involved in the community for many years, Bently has served on several boards including United Way of Acadiana, Hospice of Acadiana, Faith House, Acadiana Outreach, Lafayette Community Healthcare Clinic, Beacon Community Connections, Catholic Charities, 232-HELP, and he also served as President of the SLCC Foundation. Bently was a University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Christiana Smith Alumni Chapter, Outstanding Graduate Honoree in 2019, and he recently (2024) received the inaugural Impact Leader Award that honors one leader in the Franciscan Missionary of Our Lady Health System who makes significant and measurable contributions to their communities through the successful implementation of key initiatives.
Michael Tanner currently serves as Managing Member for Tanner Services, LLC, an oil and gas construction firm, TanMar Companies, an oil and gas living accommodations provider, as well as Managing Member for Work Designs, LLC, a Workwear & PPE company. Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) 03’ at Louisiana State University – Baton Rouge and his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Loyola Law School – New Orleans in 07’. Currently, Michael serves as a board member for both the Board of Commerce and Industry of Louisiana and the Louisiana Workforce Investment Council (WIC). Michael, a native of Eunice, LA, currently resides in Lafayette, LA with his wife and three girls. He is passionate about the Acadiana community and looks forward to providing assistance to new businesses and organizations through Community Foundation of Acadiana.
Joe Zanco, CPA, CIA, serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Acadiana-based Catalyst Bank. He served as the inaugural Chairman of the Board of One Acadiana and currently also serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry and Vision St. Landry. He focuses his volunteer efforts on financial literacy through organizations which include Innerfaith Prison Ministry, The Refinery and Junior Achievement. He has been awarded the AICPA’s National Public Service Award and the LCPA’s Distinguished Public Service Award. In 2017, he was named Junior Achievement of Acadiana’s Business Person of the Year. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University, Leadership Lafayette and Leadership Louisiana.
