The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum hosts its inaugural Play Day, Saturday, inside and outdoors.
Play Day at the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The inaugural free event is set for the museum and its grounds, 710 E St. Mary Blvd., and will offer guests a new gallery guide for all ages.
Also scheduled are Olympic Grove lawn games, art activities with The Little Paintbrush, Mitch the Strolling Magician, and story time featuring children's book author Paul Schexnayder and illustrator Mary Clements.
Mier Snow & Star Taco food trucks will be on site.
The education initiative is made possible by The Curator's Circle Fund at the Community Foundation of Acadiana, Anonymous, Kiwanis Club of Lafayette, Robertson Energy and Capital, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Scurlock, and Carolyn French, Michael Huber, Byron Reyes and UBS Financial Services.
