At Home, a home decor superstore, opened its third Louisiana location today at 4230 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, the company said in a news release.

The company also is partnering with local agencies to help Louisiana rebuild from the August flooding.

At Home's grand opening and ribbon-cutting is at 9 a.m. Oct. 21. The company is partnering with the Community Foundation of Acadiana and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity ReStore that weekend, according to a news release.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, At Home representatives will present the Community Foundation with a $5,000 donation to the Acadiana Disaster Response Fund.

Residents are invited to bring donations of gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to a Habitat ReStore truck in front of the store between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 21-22. Every family or individual contributor will receive a $10 At Home gift card while supplies last.

At Home also will offer mystery gift cards ranging from $20 to $200 to customers who visit the store starting at 9 a.m. Oct. 22.

The new store creates 25 local jobs. At Home already has stores in Kenner and Slidell.
