Festival International de Louisiane is a non-profit organization that produces the largest international music and arts festival in the United States with a special emphasis on the connection between Acadiana and the Francophone world and an estimated economic impact of 49 million annually. With over 300,000 festival goers every year, the annual festival features musical performances by artists from over 20 countries along with workshops, exhibits, visual art, theater and other forms of performance arts.

Raise capital for the New Headquarters of Festival International de Louisiane
Raise $400,000 to pay off the balance owed on Festival's new building in downtown Lafayette. Once paid off, the equity will be protected by the members of the governing committee of the fund.
"We want to pay off the mortgage and have the fund's governing committee protect the equity.” said Scott Feehan. "Our goal is to have a solid balance sheet so that Festival can weather the storm if / when times get tough." Achieving this goal will "pay off Lafayette Public Trust, so (LPTFA) can go do something else very valuable in the community,” Herb Schilling, a founder of the Benefactors' Fund which hopes to provide some stability for Festival International, said at the ribbon cutting.
Raise $400,000 in working capital for one fiscal year
Raise another $400,00. This money will also be protected by the committee and will be dedicated to Festival. It will only be used for approved grants to the organization. This could be used for normal operations if sponsorship dollars fall short, or possible capital investments.
