|Affiliate Foundation Funds|
Permanent named funds have been established by individuals,
couples, families and businesses to grow philanthropy in CFA's focused areas of
Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary and
|Agency and Designated Funds||Some nonprofits, churches and schools have chosen to partner with Community Foundation of Acadiana to help them manage their endowments and/or their non-operating funds. Likewise, donors wishing to support their favorite nonprofit, church or school establish designated funds with CFA. |
|Disaster Relief Funds|| |
These funds support families who suffered from a natural disaster.
|Discretionary Fund||From these funds, the CFA Board of Directors award grants to organizations that meet emerging needs and opportunities in the communities we serve. These funds are the most timeless in terms of community impact.|
|Donor Advised Funds||Donor Advised Funds or Charitable Savings accounts are created to satisfy the charitable objectives of individuals, families, corporations, etc. A Charitable Savings Account can be created with any dollar amount and the donor directs CFA to make grants to his/her favorite 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches or schools.|
|Employee Emergency Relief Funds||A special fund set up by an employer to assist its employees during emergency situations.|
|Field of Interest Funds|
Field of Interest Funds are created to benefit an interest, cause, or even a community that is important to a donor.
Fiscal Sponsorships allow corporations, groups, and individuals to raise
tax-deductible contributions for charitable projects, without having to go
through the time and expense of creating a nonprofit entity|
|Fund Website Applications|| Setting up a web page for your fund on our website is easy. |
|Legacy Fund||A charitable savings account to honor a family member or a loved one.|
Individuals, families and companies wishing to make a difference in the lives of students who choose to further their education may establish Scholarship Funds.
