Louisiana Bicentennial 2012

The Louisiana Bicentennial Commission was created to mark the 200th anniversary of Louisiana's attainment of statehood as the 18th state in the Union. Through both education and celebration, the Commission's goal is to commemorate our Bicentennial in every corner of the state

Louisiana is gearing up for the celebration of the century as our state marks its 200th anniversary of statehood April 30, 2012.

All contributions to the Louisiana Bicentennial 2012 are tax-deductible.
